WHERE TO EAT

Ninety One Café
The first thing you will see before ascending to Connco is Ninety-One. The restaurant offers various selection of Middle Eastern inspired dish. Aside from enjoying their scrumptious meals, you can also dip in their pool when the heat reaches its peak.

Warung Varuna
Do you want to taste the authentic Indonesian food and experience the ambiance of a local eatery with local price? Just less than 2 minutes walking away from our co-working space, this warung (Indonesian word for a little restaurant) displays their menu where you can pick what to go with your white, brown, or yellow rice. Their yellow rice is definitely to die for!

Luigi’s Hot Pizza
You’re vegan but still craving for a melted cheese on your pizza? Luigi’s has the answer. Cater to those who want to share their pizza (they have pizza by meter, by the way) Luigi’s atmosphere is certainly stand out from any pizzeria in Canggu. With long tables and chairs, enjoying pizza has never been better.

Plant Cartel
Designed like those diner you usually see in the movies, Plant Cartel is the healthy version of fast food since their menu is 100% plant based. Whether you want to take away or dine-in, the quality of their food is top notch. Who says vegan food is not tasty?

Located next to our co-working space, this 4-star hotel will surely give you a memorable stay. Not only that, their mini rice field is an attraction of its own where you can also get your feet dirty during the planting season. Their Kanaya Spa is a perfect choice when you need to relax your muscles after a long day of surfing or walking around Bali.

Dreamsea Surf Camp

Alternative Beach
Part beach club, part accommodation, Alternative Beach is your place to go if you’re looking to spend the day chilling out by the pool with cocktails in your hand. They regularly invite up and coming Dj’s for an intimate afternoon session. Go there as early as you can because they have entry limit to avoid overcrowding!

Old Man’s Canggu
This beachfront beer garden has been famous as a hang out and party place in Batu Bolong for years. The laid back setting and location which nestles right in front of the famous surfing spot in Canggu, Old Man’s is the place to be when day is ending as the sunset view is simply stunning. And they’re only 500 meters away from our co-working space!

La Brisa
If beachfront cocktails & shabby tropical vibes sound like your thing, then head to La Brisa. The decor is incredible, the pool is cool and the view is spectacular. Don’t miss a sunset here, and try the fresh Sushi!

 

A little more about Canggu!

Language: The official language in Bali is Indonesian, but you will also hear Balinese (or Bahasa). English is the “third” language of Bali and is widely accepted by the locals.

Currency: Bali uses the Indonesian rupiah as the local currency.

Credit Cards and Banks: Cash is everything in Bali. Always carry a handful of 10,000 to 100,000 notes (100,000 IDR is about $7 USD) for daily expenses and purchases. There are ATMs everywhere! (1 min walk from Connco)

Climate: All year-round you’ll find Bali is the Island of the sun—be mindful of the rainy season, January to April and October to November! Majority of the time, the sun is shining here!

Water: Be sure not to drink the tap water in Bali. Many tourists experience “Bali Belly” (severe stomach issues and indigestion) when traveling through Indonesia.
